Here, we care for your furry friends with natural, honest, and well-thought-out products… and we also believe that clarity leads to long and beautiful relationships. That's why we're providing our Terms and Conditions of Sale here, explained transparently and without beating around the bush.
The purchase of products through www.maikaipets.com (hereinafter, the “Website”) is governed by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Who is behind Maikai Pets?

Our business consists of the online sale of natural products and supplements for dogs and cats, both through the Website and through other authorized distribution channels.
2. Scope of application
These Terms apply to all purchases made on the Website by consumers and users.
By placing an order, you confirm that:

We know that nobody enjoys reading legal texts, but they are important for everything to work well and without surprises.
3. When is the contract formalized?
The purchase contract is considered formalized when MAIKAI PETS confirms your order , either by confirmation email or with the shipping confirmation.
The first automated email you receive after placing an order serves to confirm that we have received it, but it does not yet imply final acceptance if there is a justified reason (for example, lack of stock or obvious error).
MAIKAI PETS reserves the right to refuse orders with justification in exceptional cases (misuse of the Website, fraud, obvious errors, etc.).
4. Product availability
All products are subject to availability.
If, after placing your order, any product is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can choose from:

The refund of the corresponding amount, or

An equivalent alternative, if you wish.
5. Prices, taxes and shipping costs
All prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable taxes (VAT, where applicable).
Shipping costs are clearly indicated during the purchase process, before finalizing the order.
Although we try to keep everything up to date, if there is a clear error in price or description , MAIKAI PETS reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
6. Payment methods and security
You can pay for your order using the methods available at checkout (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or others that may be indicated at any given time).
The charge is made at the time of purchase or according to the operation of the chosen payment provider.
All transactions are conducted through secure and encrypted platforms. MAIKAI PETS does not have access to your bank card details.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping times and methods are indicated during the purchase process and on our shipping page.
For reference:

Spain (Peninsula): usual timeframe of 1–3 working days.
These deadlines may be extended during periods of high demand such as promotions, sales, Black Friday or Christmas.
It is important that you carefully review the delivery details.
If you need to change the address after placing your order, please email us as soon as possible at hello@maikaipets.com , including your order number. If the order has already left the warehouse, it may not be possible to change it or it could cause additional delays.
8. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from receipt of the order, without needing to justify the reason.
To exercise this right, simply inform us clearly by email to hello@maikaipets.com indicating your order number.
Important exceptions
For reasons of hygiene, safety and food regulations:

No returns will be accepted for opened or used products.

For food products, only unopened and intact packaging will be accepted for return.

The packs must be returned complete , not in individual units.
9. Returns: how they work

Products must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.

Unless there is an error attributable to MAIKAI PETS, the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer .
Once the products have been received and checked, we will make the refund using the same payment method, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receipt or from when the shipment is credited.
10. Defective product or order error
If you receive an incorrect, defective, or damaged product, please write to us at hello@maikaipets.com indicating the order number and attaching photos.
When the error is attributable to MAIKAI PETS or the transport, we will take care of everything to solve it at no cost to you (replacement, resend or refund).
11. Cancellation or modification of the order
If you wish to cancel or modify an order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@maikaipets.com indicating:

If the order has already left the warehouse, it cannot be cancelled and the returns policy will apply.
12. Promotional codes

Unless otherwise stated, only one promotional code can be used per order .

The codes cannot be combined or exchanged for cash.

MAIKAI PETS reserves the right to cancel codes used fraudulently or contrary to its terms and conditions.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website (texts, images, trademarks, designs, logos, etc.) is owned by MAIKAI PETS or authorized third parties and is protected by intellectual and industrial property regulations.
Its use for commercial purposes is prohibited without express authorization.
14. Data protection
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy , and the use of cookies by our Cookie Policy , both available on the Website.
15. Applicable legislation and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Spanish law .
When the client has the status of a consumer, the courts and tribunals of their domicile will be competent, in accordance with current regulations.
The European Commission provides consumers with an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform for contracts concluded online.
